(This is the time of year when the horse racing season for the Ivory Pine Syndicate is winding down, but the soccer season for the Rosevelt Soccer Club is gearing up. Here's a 90-day glimpse of the day in the life of a horse racing managing partner and soccer club administrator.)

Sent out our final partner update for our Crimson Pine partners in 2024.
Benny is sound and healthy, and he'll enjoy lots of time in the pastures at Norton Farm over the next few months before starting workouts again to prepare for the 2025 season next spring.
Rosevelt Soccer Club, 3:30p-4p
Still working on tying up a few loose ends related to our club apparel, specifically a new online store for our coaches to use when ordering their gear with gift cards funded by our club's royalty money provided by our apparel vendors.
We stopped being the middle man for our players' apparel orders years ago, and we're hopeful we'll no longer be the middle man for our coaches' apparel starting this season. The process should be more efficient for everyone, plus the store should give our coaches more flexibility with their club apparel.
Read Horse, 7:45p-8p
We don't go back to school until January 2, so one of my goals over the next 12 days is to read more. Starting by rereading Geraldine Brooks's 2022 novel Horse.
