(This is the time of year when the horse racing season for the Ivory Pine Syndicate is winding down, but the soccer season for the Rosevelt Soccer Club is gearing up. Here's a 90-day glimpse of the day in the life of a horse racing managing partner and soccer club administrator.)

We publicly announced for the first time our partnership's 2025 Offering.
We'll have a 50% stake in a foal due in March 2025, and it's the first time we'll be involved in owning a pacer eligible for the Maine Sire Stakes and the Massachusetts Stakes programs.
It's our most ambitious (and riskiest) offering so far, and it also requires the most patience. But the offering is a culmination of everything we've learned since we purchased Sixby Hanover in April 2022, and it gives us the opportunity to be involved in a racehorse's development since their first breath.

Researched the newly-announced groups for the Jägermeister Cup, USL's interleague competition featuring both USL Championship and USL League One clubs.
Hoping Portland Hearts of Pine draws a home or away game against Detroit City FC in the group stage, would likely even try to make the trip to Detroit to watch that game live.
In the meantime, it's great to see Maine represented on a map that depicts higher-level soccer. I've been looking at similar maps my whole adult life, and Maine is rarely represented on those maps.
