Cumberland Pick 3: Saturday, April 26 (Meet Day No. 6)

(Below are three selections for First Tracks Cumberland selected by Isaac Salisbury, Steve Morgan, and John Morgan. Each handicapper will start with a mythical $408 bankroll, and each selection will be bet with mythical $2 Win and $2 Place bets.)

Isaac Salisbury

$382.80 (- 6.2%)

Isaac is a Skowhegan native who became a passionate fan of horse racing when he discovered a knack for handicapping races when he was a senior in college during the pandemic in 2020.

Race No. 5

#4: Jaxson R Browne (7-2 ML)

In good form with Aaron Hall in the bike, and he paced a 1:57.1 race last time out.

Race No. 6

#3: Forrest Blu (5-2 ML)

Paced really nice last time out at Cumberland, expect a good race here too.

Race No. 7

#1: Dinner Party (3-1 ML)

Good post and had good early speed last week.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Steve Morgan

$427.80 (+ 4.9%)

A partner in the Ivory Pine Syndicate, Steve has been attending and betting on races in Maine since the grandstands were full and Leigh Fitch was the leading driver.

Race No. 2

#4: Kount Blaster (8-5 ML)

Best recent speed ratings, has already raced 10 times this year, down in class, and a better post position from last two races.

Race No. 4

#2: Rockin' Cougar (5-2 ML)

When Nick Graffam has driven this pacer, he has done well. It's the pacer's second race off the winter layoff, hoping to get a decent price.

Race No. 5

#1: Always At My Place (8-5 ML)

Tough for me to go against a couple of personal favorites, but this pacer's post, driver, and TrackMaster Rating are tough to ignore.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

John Morgan

$391.20 (- 4.1%)

John is the founder and managing partner of the Ivory Pine Syndicate.

Race No. 4

#2: Rockin' Cougar (5-2 ML)

Good post, good recent effort, and hoping the pacer's trainer Bethany Graffam breaks her maiden.

Race No. 6

#3: Forrest Blu (5-2 ML)

Good post, good form this season, and the favorite in the race has drawn a tough post.

Race No. 7

#3: Flow with Joe (6-1 ML)

Good post, good speed rating last time out on a muddy track, and a good price.
