(This time of year is the always the busiest for our club because it requires us to wrap up our current season while also preparing for next season by finalizing budgets, coaching appointments, and roster offers. Throw in a few potential changes in Maine's club soccer ecosystem and a big change to age groupings across the U.S. next year, and the next 365 days could be topsy-turvy for our club with a small margin of error. This 3-day stretch has been the worst 72 hours I've experienced co-founding the Rosevelt Soccer Club on May 1, 2014 and running the Rosevelt Soccer Club every day since then.
Relationships have been severely frayed, feelings are raw, and chaos has ensued.
There is not enough space on this blog to document a tick-tock of everything that transpired between 8:30p on Sunday (6/1) and 8:30p on Tuesday (6/3), and it will be a long time before numerous folks will be able to talk or write about all that transpired within that timeframe without strong emotions.
