It’s the round the lower-league clubs of America wait for, when MLS teams enter the ring, and they get a chance to knock off one of the “big boys” and possibly repeat Sacramento Republic’s run to the Final in 2022. The 2026 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup continues this week with 16 Third Round games on the schedule. With seven games on Tuesday and nine more on Wednesday, the 16 winners will advance to the Round of 16 (April 28-29).
