- Reinstate a Division I men's soccer program at the University of Maine
- Install a "Sixby Bell" in the Winners' Circle at Maine racetracks that winning connections ring as a public commitment to donate $20 to the Futures for Standardbreds
- Reconfigure the Triple Crown schedule to include the first Saturday in May (Kentucky Derby), the first Saturday in June (Preakness Stakes), and the first Saturday in July (Belmont Stakes)
